This earthenware, known as Black Pottery, is manufactured in La Chamba, a village in the south of Colombia. All products are still made entirely by hand. This means that any object is completely unique and fair trade.
Your Black Pottery is suitable for cooking on gas, electric stoves, grills or BBQs, or in the oven & microwave. But just keeping warm and serving food alone gives a beautifully set table!

Before you start using your Black pottery, wash them carefully with hot water and soap, then partially fill with water and boil for 30 minutes in the oven at 200 degrees.
